CIF Southern Section Division 1 boys volleyball champion Newport Harbor is at home against Servite in the first round of the CIF SoCal Division I playoffs.
Newport Harbor (25-5) plays Servite (25-10) on Tuesday at Newport Harbor High. Newport Harbor defeated Loyola in the CIF-SS Division 1 final Saturday. Servite lost to Tesoro in the Division 2 final Friday.
All first-round matches are Tuesday at 6 p.m. The SoCal Regional playoffs continue with semifinals Thursday and finals Saturday.
Tesoro (19-6) plays at Cathedral Catholic (26-4) in the Division I first round. Cathedral Catholic is the CIF San Diego Section Open Division champion. Beckman (37-4), which lost to Loyola in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals, is home against Mira Costa (21-10), which lost to Newport Harbor in the CIF-SS Division 1 semifinals.
Newport Harbor was SoCal Regional Division I champion in 2019. Capistrano Valley Christian, top-seeded in Division III, was SoCal Regional Division IV champion in 2021.
Admission to SoCal Regional playoff games for the first two rounds is $5 for children and students, $9 for adults. Admission to the SoCal Regional finals is $8 for children and $12 for adults.

Division I: Servite (25-10) at Newport Harbor (25-5); Mira Costa (21-10) at Beckman (37-4); Tesoro (19-7) at Cathedral Catholic (26-4).
Division II: Torrey Pines (28-13) at Royal (24-6); Chatsworth (32-10) at Sage Creek (30-9); St. Margaret’s (24-8) at Westview (22-13); Scripps Ranch (26-12) at Upland (37-4).

Division III: Arroyo Grande (16-13) at Sunny Hills (23-5); Carpinteria (21-8-1) at Madison (32-3); Carson (25-13) at Francis Parker (24-12). Capistrano Valley Christian (28-1) has a first-round bye.
Division IV: Animo Robinson (15-1) at Grossmont (21-8); Mar Vista (28-7) at Mendez (26-8-1); Narbonne (11-12) at Saddleback (21-3); Los Angeles (18-8) at Monrovia (27-6).
