Irvine was shining bright for the holiday over the weekend.
The city celebrated with a tree-lighting ceremony, residents enjoying entertainment, visits with Santa Claus and the decorated Great Park Palm Court during Illuminate Irvine.
The Great Park will remain decorated for the season through Dec. 29.
Holidayz at the Park will open 5 to 9 p.m. Fridays and 1 to 8 p.m. weekends. Stroll the decorated Palm Court and enjoy selfie stations.
