Chipotle Mexican Grill will begin testing a new beef recipe Tuesday, May 3, at nine locations Orange County, the Newport Beach-based chain announced Monday.
Garlic Guajillo Steak is made with guajillo peppers and garlic and grilled on the plancha, according to a news release.
Locations include:

2002 E. Lincoln Ave., Anaheim
2085 E Katella Ave., Anaheim
3955 Irvine Blvd., Irvine
6424 Irvine Blvd., Irvine
3440 E. Chapman Ave., Orange
2202 N. Tustin St., Suite A, Orange
13348 Newport Ave., Tustin
15040 Kensington Park Drive, Tustin.
It is also being tested in Denver and Indianapolis, the news release said.
The news follows Chipotle’s launch of another new meat item, Pollo Asado, in March.
